Excuse My Muse

Lost Gospel

Last week I watched a documentry on the National Geographic channel that I found to be very interesting. I had not yet before heard of this lost gospel and I was compelled to learn more about it, it's journey from it's "grave" into what we know of it now, and what it could possible mean in the future. The documentry is called "The Lost Gospel of Judas Iscariot." Not only did I learn new information and gain new insights on Jesus, the 4 gospels of Mark thru John and the differences thereof, but I also gained a new understanding of Judas and his role in the betrayal of Jesus. I found the documentry to be very informative, not biased or one-sided, straight forward and it just made alot of sense to me. I'm glad I sat for the 2 hours and watched it. Did any of you happen to catch it? If not, it will be on again for those of you who it would interest, I would recommend you watch it.

This and That

Hiya's!

It's been awhile so I thought I'd better drop in to say "Hello", check on my fellow tbloggers, and see what's up in tblog land.

First of all....teenagers...wonderful creatures they are but they sure can be hogs when it comes to valuble computer time! I blame MSN Messenger. I'm sure there is a code that only teen's can see that has brainwashed these kids into thinking they just might parish if they don't constantly chat! What on earth did we do as teen's before there was the internet and MSN? Oh yeah, we went outside and actually hung out with our friends IRL! LOL ;)

Had a great night out last night! Myself, hubs and 8 of our friends went to the Motely Crue concert...and it was a blast! Yes, I'm a fan! They were ever so popular when I was a teenager and it was one of the best concerts I've been to! Tommy didn't play drums, he's hurt his wrist so he had a stand in but he did give us all a great techno kind of show up in the air on some nifty sky-high drum set type things and of course he also ran the ever-famous "titty-cam". I bet they think our city is pretty tame because there weren't many bare bosoms flying about. I would have rather been on the floor than in the first tier but in my rather round condition it's best I wasn't and had a comfy seat to sit in, close to the bathrooms...which is ever important to me right now! Baby must have liked...or maybe disliked? the vibrations from the noise because it sure kicked in time to the music...I'm a little sore today.

Oh yes, baby news. Well, I'm 26 weeks along now...only 14 more to go and counting! I'm not very big so far but no doubt that will change over the next couple of months. So far I'm all baby belly...no extra weight anywhere, what more could I ask for? Oh yes...not to wake up ten times a night to pee or try to find a comfortable position. An uninterrupted night's sleep....won't see one of those for awhile! We found out from our last scan that baby is healthy, growing at a good rate and that it's a GIRL! Whoohoo...I just knew it! Hubs is so pleased and tells everyone who has ears that he's having a little girl...he's so proud. Our daughter, who so badly wanted a baby brother, surprised us both by being as excited as she is about having a baby sister and tells us all the time what she will do with her new sibling. I'm so pleased that she's pleased, it will just make the transition that much easier.

Spring has finally sprung around here. We've had rain but not too much and I hope it stays that way. We do not want a repeat performance of last spring's flood! My tulips and day lilly's are starting to come up and the warm sunshine just makes everyone feel better :)

That's me of late in a nutshell.

Be good and Happy Easter!
